ZylSerialPort.NET is a component for connecting to a serial port in .NET applications. With this component you can easily access and interact with serial devices such as modems, barcodes, GSM modules, etc. In addition to serial devices, you can read information from usb ports, IrDAs and Bluetooth devices. USB, Bluetooth and IrDA devices usually have drivers that redirect the input information to a virtual serial port, so this component can also receive data from these ports. If your USB device does not provide such a driver, you should use a usb controller that provides the serial port port mechanism. For example, FTDI or using a USB / RS-232 adapter.
This component works on a multi-threaded basis, is fully coded event-driven, and performs asynchronous processing so that the application interface does not freeze. ZylSerialPort.NET is fully written in C # and is a .NET framework and you will not need any other affiliate library to use it. Along with this component, there is a demo version of the sample program that shows the actual performance of the program. This demo is available for both Sharp and Webb for versions 2010,2012,2013 and 2015 of Visual Studio and in vinform and wpf formats. There is also a help file that describes the various components of the component in full, but you can also use the program’s online help.
