Siemens NX I-DEAS is Siemens software for modeling and simulating product lines. Originally developed by the SDRC in 1982, it was widely used in the automotive industry – for example Ford and General Motors – which was later acquired in 2001 by its competitor EDS and connected to the NX and eventually to the 2007 helm. This product was managed by Siemens.
It provides all the features needed to design, model, optimize, document, simulate, build, and test product lines so that the design engineer, despite this program, is almost unnecessary to other similar software. The program is actually a combination of the two Unigraphics Nx and I-DEAS programs that are both the best in computer-aided design and construction.
By combining the two programs, Siemens actually provided a unified platform for designing and manufacturing a variety of product lines. This reduces the time wasted by repeated switching between different software and makes it possible to reach the final output in less time and no need to learn two separate programs.
The graphical environment of this software is powerful and rich. Rich in that you now have a wide range of integrated cloud computing tools instead of software tools. This software is highly capable of modeling parts and can easily analyze and analyze the most complex industrial components. The program is also compatible with a wide range of CNC machines and can produce output for these machines. I-DEAS currently has a large share of the global market and is one of the most widely used software in this field.
